Joe Louis (1914 – 1981) was a legendary American heavyweight boxer and world champion from 1937 to 1949. He defended his title a total of 26 times during this period, making him the heavyweight world champion with the most title defenses ever. His record was 66 wins in 69 bouts with 3 defeats. Joe Louis was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 1990 and is considered one of the greatest boxers of all time, appearing on every “All Time Great” list.

Henry Armstrong (1909 – 1988) was a legendary American boxer and world champion in the featherweight (1937), light weight (1938) and welterweight (1938 – 1940) divisions. His record was 151 wins in 183 bouts with 22 losses and 10 draws. As one of the greatest boxers of all time, Henry Armstrong was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 1990 and can be found on every “All Time Great” list.

Barney Ross (1909 – 1967) was an American boxer and world champion in the lightweight, light welterweight and welterweight divisions in the thirties. His record was 72 wins in 79 fights with 4 losses and 3 draws. Barney Ross was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 1990.

Tommy Farr (1913 – 1986) was a British light heavyweight and heavyweight boxer. His record was 86 wins in 142 fights with 35 defeats and 19 draws.

Freddie Steele (1912 – 1984) was an American middleweight boxer and world champion from 1936 to 1938. His record was 123 wins in 140 fights with 5 defeats and 11 draws. Freddie Steele was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 1999.

Benny Lynch (1913 – 1946) was a British flyweight boxer and world champion from 1935 to 1938. His record was 88 wins in 119 fights with 14 losses and 17 draws. Benny Lynch was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 1998.
